Lahntours campsite in Solms-Schohleck
Our campsite Schohleck is located between the Goethe city Wetzlar and the residence city Weilburg in Solms directly at the banks of the Lahn. At the nearby hils you find the well known climatic spa Braunfels with its picturesque castle, which is definitely worth a visit.
The campsite is the ideal start or end point for your canoe tour, however it is also a great location to just stay the night on your tour. The big undeveloped grass area offers especially school classes and youth groups many opportunities. Additionally there is a original Indian tipi village, where you can spend the night. The Tipis have space for up to 6 people. You can hire a canoe here, as well as a bicycle to discover the surroundings.
On-site is a little kiosk with cosy Biergarten, which caters for your physical well-beeing during your stay. They offer not only small snacks and a bread roll service in the morning, but also a rich breakfast and barbecue buffet. You like to take care of the cocking yourself? No problem the campsite has a small communal kitchen that can be used. You like a little bit more comfort? We can help you with that, too. How about tables and benches or even cookware or a charcoal grill?
A highlight are the multiple campfire pits that are scattered around. On our campground you can enjoy a romantic campfire atmosphere directly next to the Lahn. Our wood sale makes sure your fire wont run out of fuel.
