Terms and conditions for the Lahntours campsite Runkel

Dear customer, these general terms and conditions shall become, as far as effectively agreed, the content of the contract between the customer and us, the company LT-Aktivreisen GmbH, abbreviated below as "LT". Please read these carefully.

1. Your written booking request becomes effective when we have sent you a written confirmation. LT is entitled to request a reasonable advance payment from the customer upon conclusion of the contract. Provided that LT is ready and able to perform the contractual services, there is no right to utilize these services without full payment before the commencement of services.

2. If you withdraw from your reservation before the start of the camping stay, we can demand reasonable compensation. Our flat-rate claim for compensation (withdrawal fee) is:
a) up to 30 days before the start of your stay 20%
b) 29 to 20 days before the start of your stay 30%
c) 19 to 10 days before the start of your stay 40%
d) 09 to 06 days before the start of your stay 60%
e) 05 to 01 days before the start of your stay 80%
f) in case of a cancellation or a no-show on the day of arrival 100%

3. LT can cancel the reservation up to the last minute if unforeseen circumstances such as floods would not allow a safe and smooth course of stay. If LT cancels the reservation, the price paid will be refunded in full. LT cannot guarantee that unforeseen circumstances during your stay might will lead to its termination for your own safety.

4. In the event that any of the company's equipment is damaged or lost due to your fault, we have to charge you for the repair or replacement.

5. You commit to adapt your behaviour to the campsite regulations and to follow the instructions of the staff.

6. The invalidity of single regulations does not in principle establish the invalidity of the entire contract.

Campsite regulations:

1) In order to make the organisational process as smooth as possible, we ask every camper to register before entering the grounds.
2) The instructions of the staff must be followed.
3) Leave your pitches clean and report any damage to the site management. Users are liable for damage they cause themselves; parents are liable for their children.
4) Dispose of all waste separately in the designated containers. Failure to comply with this rule will result in an additional charge for disposal. In the interest of the environment, we ask that you accept the minimal effort required for waste separation.
5) Quiet hours are from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Please observe the midday rest period. We ask that you behave in a manner that does not disturb others during these times. Driving motorized vehicles on the site is strictly prohibited during quiet hours.
6) Access to the riverbank is prohibited up to 6 meters from the top edge; we are located in a protected landscape area!
7) Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure; otherwise, an additional night's fee will be charged.
8) Washing dishes on the pitch is prohibited; please use the dishwashing area. Wastewater must be disposed of in the sewer system. There is a disposal station for cassette toilets.
9) Dogs must be kept on a leash, and any excrement must be removed.
10) Paramilitary behavior and fascist symbols will not be tolerated.
11) Excessive alcohol consumption leading to loss of control, shouting, or screaming is prohibited. Intoxication that disturbs other guests or disrupts the peace at night may result in immediate expulsion from the campsite.
12) Radios, loudspeakers, music players, and similar devices must be kept at a low volume. Disturbing noise should be avoided at all times, even during the day. During quiet hours, loudspeakers must be switched off completely, and conversations should be kept to a whisper.
13) Open fires are permitted only with charcoal, briquettes, and commercially available, dry firewood (pallets or similar materials are prohibited!) in the designated fire pits from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. Collecting firewood from the surrounding woods is prohibited!
14) If a guest intentionally or through gross negligence violates the campsite rules, they may be immediately refused further stay under the campsite's right to refuse service. In such a case, the campsite retains its right to the agreed total price as a lump-sum compensation. Refunds for services already paid are excluded.
